What this is
For centuries, households kept an almanac by the door and consulted it before the big and small decisions of the year: when to sow, when to harvest, when to cut hair, when to sign papers. That tradition ran on two things — real astronomy and inherited lore. We keep both, and we keep them clearly labeled.
The astronomy here is real: the Moon's sign, phase, illumination, rise and set times are computed live from verified astronomical algorithms, not tables copied from somewhere. The guidance layer — fruitful and barren signs, the body map, best days — is tradition, presented as tradition. We will never dress folklore up as fact, and never flatten real sky data into vague mysticism.
Who makes it
It's in the Signs is an independent project, built and tended by a small team that grew up with the almanac tradition and wanted it to survive contact with real astronomy. (A fuller story from the founder is coming here soon.)
What we believe
